Refund overview
- Full refund if cancelled 3 or more days before the coverage start date
- Refunds go back to the original payment method
- Visa-rejection refunds may be available with embassy documentation
When you can get a full refund
3 or more days before the policy start date
If you cancel 3 or more days before your coverage start date, you are eligible for a full refund.
Visa rejection
If your Ukrainian visa application is rejected, you may qualify for a refund when you send official rejection documentation from the embassy or consulate.
Technical errors
If a processing error on our side produced an incorrect policy, we will refund it in full regardless of timing.
When refunds are not available
Fewer than 3 days before the policy start
Requests made fewer than 3 days before coverage begins are not eligible for a refund.
After coverage begins
Once the policy coverage period has started, refunds are not available.
After a claim or medical use
If the policy has been used for any medical services or claims, it cannot be refunded.
Change of mind close to the start date
A change of travel plans fewer than 3 days before the start date, or after coverage has begun, does not qualify for a refund.
How to request a refund
Contact us
Email support@insurancetravelukraine.com with your policy number and the reason for the refund.
Verification
We check your eligibility and policy status.
Processing
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.
What to include
- • Policy number and purchase confirmation
- • Full name and contact information
- • Reason for the refund request
- • Supporting documentation (if applicable)
Refund processing
We review refund requests as they arrive. Once approved, the money is sent back to the original payment method. The time it then takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
We will confirm by email when the refund has been sent.
